Staff Spotlight: Colin & George

Colin Osness joined BBAB October 2019 as an experienced full-time builder. Colin loves taking advantage of all the outdoors has to offer, including camping, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and skiing in the winter. In fact, last winter he survived an avalanche!

Here, Colin cuts a log destined to be part of a play structure bridge. His wide range of skills and good-natured personality are a great fit with the BBAB team - he even takes on electrical and plumbing tasks around the shop!

George Cortes-Arellano joined BBAB in April of 2021 as an experienced full-time builder. We first met George in 2013 at the Toyota dealership where he worked as a salesman when he sold us two Toyota Tundra trucks. Later, he moved into remodeling for several years. In April of this year, we had an opening, and we were all excited to meet again and add George to the team.

In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with his wife, two children, six cats, and a dog. His brother-in-law, Marco, is the BBAB shop foreman, so every day is family time for George.

As a former weightlifter, George has no problem hoisting a heavy load in the shop. And his building skills, team work ethic, and Spanish/English fluency are a great asset to the BBAB crew!
