Ramblin' Treehouse

Ramblin’ Treehouse is a charming combination of refurbished and new components that come together around a massive tree trunk to form a cohesive play zone.

The family wanted to buy the pre-owned refurbished playhouse that they saw on our Play Bargains section of the website: a BBAB certified refurbished 6’x6’ Clubhouse on top of an 8.5’ x 8.5’ deck with Angled Rung Ladder. In addition, they wanted to add some other play elements. When Barbara saw the great tree nearby, she suggested a bridge with swings below connecting to a big tree deck. The family was thrilled!

To the right of the playhouse, a custom 12’ x 14’ tree deck is matched perfectly to the contours of the huge trunk, while a new turbo tube slide provides a speedy way down. The artificial turf on the ground has a foam pad below it to create a fun, soft landing spot with no watering needed!

The playhouse and tree deck areas are connected by a 9’ straight bridge. Underneath the bridge, monkey bars are an alternate way to get across.

Play accessories offer a boost of fun to the structure. Here, a table and chair set is ready for a tea party or a meeting of the King’s council. The tree deck’s hand-lashed rope netting ensures safety while keeping the focus on the leafy view.

Like all our projects, Ramblin’ Treehouse is covered with our signature non-toxic tung oil stain, a unique formulation that provides a vibrant color and weather resistance while also highlighting the wood’s natural grain.

Inside the playhouse, you can stretch your creativity on a drop-leaf table, bench, and chalk board. Ramblin’ Treehouse has something for everyone!
