Despite it’s age (24 years old), this fort is structurally solid and ready for many more years of play. However, the exposed wood is quite rough and will need considerable sanding before it is safe for kids to play on. There are also some minor repairs and missing hardware that needs to be addressed. Once disassembled, other needed repairs may be discovered.

For the new installation of this fort to be safe, we recommend a full maintenance with repairs, re-stain & oiling of the fort. If you are handy or if you have a contractor to do the work, you can take it away for free. For a local delivery (roughly 50 miles from Mountain View CA), you can hire us to do the relocation (and of course we do the best job!)  Further distances will require additional charge. We estimate that the total for relocating, sanding and repairs, cleaning and restaining the fort to be $12,600.
