Octagon Refresh

Earlier this year Barbara and the crew were delighted to perform a full maintenance and restain on this beautiful play structure, making it sparkle and shine again.

Back story: The 6’ diameter, 2-story octagon tower with 8’ diameter octagon roof was built and installed in 2009. Our clients moved in 2014, deciding to bring the fort with them, plus expand the play structure by purchasing a used hideaway fort (that we restored to look like new and matched to the octagon colors) plus had Barbara build a new 9’ long bridge over 2 swings to connect the 2 play structures. A little over 10 years later, the family emailed us saying that the play structure “is in good shape but has faded and suffered some dings and such due to weather and lots of use.  We’d love to get it refreshed!

We hope you’ll enjoy the following before and after transformation of this unique play fort!

After image of the Fort once fully re-stained.

We love how inviting the play structure looks nestled in such a beautifully landscape yard.
