Long Island Treehouse: Day 3 Install

Day 3 is when it all comes together!

It takes teamwork to get a clubhouse up in a tree. Today is when the magic really starts to happen: raising the walls, lifting the roof in place, adding the firepole, railings, etc.

By end of day it will look almost complete! It won’t be – still a million details to make it strong & sturdy and ready for play. But look and see how cool Day 3 is…

Cutting floor boards around the tree…

Laying out the hand-carved signs that will be added once the treehouse is up…

Quick lunch break on site, usually a picnic in the grass…

Securing the first wall, then bringing the others in…

Raising each wall is a team effort…

Next the roof goes up in 2 pieces and slides into place..

Once the roof is on, it really starts to look like a treehouse!
