Lafayette Play Structure - Take Two!
15 years ago we built a custom play structure for Contra Costa Jewish Day School in Lafayette, CA. They had an unused space in their yard and Barbara was able to design a structure that took advantage of the high wall to create a fun play space for the younger students.
Last year they asked us to build another play area for the older kids in another unused area of their yard.
Barbara designed three custom play structures for the school, all stained in a warm nutmeg.
The zig zag rock wall provides climbing space for everyone. Climb sideways or up and over, or climb up and survey the land from the top.
The triangular cargo net climb is hand-knotted by our crew and quickly became a favorite hang out space for the older kids.
Barbara included a classic monkey bar structure that just looks stellar with wood framing.

We are so happy we were able to provide the school with another play area that helps to fill in an otherwise unused area.
