Welcome to Casita San Marino!

Originally dubbed Atherton Cottage, but re-named after being moved to the other side of the San Francisco bay by a new family (follow it’s journey here), this two-story weatherproof playhouse is perfect for sleepovers and tea parties all year round.

An extended porch off the ground floor provides extra play area as well as a stage for theatrical performances.

The rock climbing wall up to the covered deck on the second story is a fun and challenging way onto the upper level of the playhouse.

For those not up to a rock climbing challenge, a rung ladder is available as well as a side staircase leading to the backdoor of the upper level Clubhouse.

Another small deck on the other side leads out to a bridge connected to an octagon tree perch.

Play can happen on many levels, in the playhouse or in the tree, or anywhere in between!

Inside is ready for tea parties, coloring sessions or a quiet place to study. The playhouse is weatherproof, allowing year round use (for those of us in a mild climate).

The second floor is the perfect hangout or sleepover spot with plenty of light provided by the skylight!

With so many nooks and play features it’s hard to pick one favorite location on this playhouse, but the covered porch might be our favorite spot. Who wouldn’t want to spend their afternoons here, reading or just enjoying life?
