Children of all abilities will soon have a chance to play in the country’s first fully accessible playground, Palo Alto’s Magical Bridge. To celebrate, we hosted a Studio Tour for the team where we displayed the second story of the playhouse and the stage.

In addition to updating everyone on our progress, the Studio Tour also brought together various members of the Magical Bridge team, some of whom had not previously met. The dreamers, the builders and the major donors have each played a vital role in making the Magical Bridge a reality.

Olenka Villareal, who has spearheaded this project since its inception, happened to be celebrating a birthday the same day so Suzanne surprised her with a magical cake — yes, that is an actual handcrafted mini bridge you see there!

Here’s the fully accessible stage, almost ready for young rock stars and thespians to take the lead in their own show. We are thrilled to be a part of this project and can’t wait to get it set up at the park for the kids to enjoy!
