The 7' x 9' clubhouse has board & batten siding, real glass windows with rustic hardware and a tree-stake gable roof, all supported by a sturdy and tree-safe bracing system.
The second tree has three levels of tree decks. The first (at 7’) starts the zip line ride, the second (at 10') leads to the swinging bridge, and the third (at 16') is a magical lookout spot.
The three tree decks are juxtaposed in a pleasing arrangement to provide excellent views from all sides.
Even a treehouse this size can be hidden from view when it is designed to fit perfectly with the trees. Barbara's color palette was chosen to blend into the surroundings.
This hanging platform is attached by rope-covered cable to the underside of the clubhouse deck and offers a direct yet challenging way up from the ground.
The wiggly, jiggly hanging bridge is long enough to give kids an adrenaline rush!
The elegant swinging bridge connects a 10' deck and an 8' deck, adding visual appeal and increased challenge for the children.
The beautiful view from inside the clubhouse is also functional, with glass windows that stay open with a window hook and metal grates for an additional layer of safety.
The interior of the clubhouse is roomy, bright, and outfitted with two built-in cabinets, one of which holds a big surprise!
The cabinet’s secret side door hides the opening to the rope-n-rung ladder, which leads to a hanging platform about 3' below.
