Each of our projects has its own unique flavor, and Woodside Treehouse is no exception. Currently in the installation phase, this treehouse combo is characterized by its finely crafted details. Above, two doors complete with mailbox and “who-goes-there” peep-holes drying at the shop.

The treehouse walls are made in a board and batten style: the thinner battens are glued and nailed to the larger boards to make the joints weatherproof. When finished, the entire structure will be waterproof, with tempered glass windows and real doors, so the kids can keep on making memories rain or shine. The brilliantly colored accents on the windows bring together elegance and fun for a play area that is both inviting to children and beautiful to look at for adults.

The interior walls give a glimpse into how the treehouse will look from the perspective of a child at play. Look out! Pirates have breached the perimeter; the zip-line’s our only escape!

Here, Kat meticulously paints the window frames to match our Dreamsicle stain. While the majority of the structure will be sporting our signature vibrant stain, certain key areas, such as windows and doors, benefit from the added protection of paint.

Though the majority of the staining is done at the shop, small amounts of each color come along to the installation for touch-ups. We are excited to bring you pictures of the finished treehouse in the coming weeks.
