Look what I’ve started!
Hello! I’m heading on the road again and I thought I’d keep you all posted on my adventures with a blog instead of those clunky emails. Not quite sure how all this works yet but I’m sure I’ll figure it out as I go. Comments welcome.
Tomorrow I head out for a week on the road. First to DC with Jeff to see his parents and for me to meet a client. Then Saturday morning we fly to Islip, L.I. and then drive out to East Hampton to meet my treehouse clients. It’s going to be only about 34 degrees! We’re going to “stick out” the treehouse design in the two trees to finalize the design, then meet with the clients. We’re staying out on the tip of L.I. in Montauk – sounded like a great idea until I heard the temperature…
Then Monday morning we head into NYC – Jeff’s flying back to SF and I’ll visit Debra Salomon to finish up our interior design collaboration for the two kids playrooms that we’re doing. I’ll be staying with Jeanette in her great apartment in Brooklyn. WE’re going to try to take in some galleries on Tuesday.
Then Wednesday morning off to Cincinnati to meet with the folks from Murphy Catton. They are manufacturers of large scale museum displays and they want to start building some of our structures, using different materials and processes. I’m going in to meet with them, see their capabilities and see if there’s a fit. check them out at http://www.murphycatton.com
