Welcome to a land faraway! Or at least that is how you will feel in this sprawling treehouse and fort. Elegantly situated in a groove of redwood trees in the family’s new yard, play knows no bounds.

Barbara’s final design of the fort shows the overview of the whole structure.

Start with a quick climb up the rock wall, or for a challenge, use the knotted rope climb to make your way up to the deck.

Once up top, you’ll find yourself with plenty of space to play on the 400 square foot deck.

In fair weather or foul, the 7x9 clubhouse provides a safe haven. Finished in our Level 2 Style for 100% waterproof play.

The clubhouse interior is bright and cheerful, even deep in the grove of redwoods, thanks to white stained walls and a skylight. Two doors provide a loop of play and a quick escape!

Just outside the clubhouse door you’ll find double water canons, the perfect play accessory for hot summer days, whether you’re battling foes or just cooling down.

Leaving the deck by way of the straight bridge you’ll find swings and hand-over-hand bars underneath for classic play options.

The 4x4 climbing tower provides a base between the straight bridge and the log bridge. Crazy bar climb and cargo net climb both provide fun routes onto the tower.

While the straight bridge provides a flat running surface, the log bridge presents a more unique path for travelers.

Arriving at the 10’ diameter hexagon tree deck, you will find one of the most popular play accessories: the zipline!

Barbara is always the first to test a zipline after installation. And test. And test. And test.

And finally, across the 22 foot long swinging bridge to return to the deck. Slide your way off the fort into the garden to enjoy the ground level play accessories.

Under the deck are hand-over-hand rings and more space to play.

Barbara loves to design loops of play in her structures, and Fort FarAway is one big loop of play!

Blended into the redwood grove, this fort really does feel like it is in a land far, far away.
