Dreams Happen Auction 2019
The culmination of all our hard work building Amalgamated Play Headquarters was the Dreams Happen Gala and Auction where this gorgeous donation was sold to the highest bidder to benefit Rebuilding Together Peninsula.
Prior to auction day, all of the donations were displayed at the Stanford Shopping Center. For safety reasons, the public cannot climb on the structures during this time, which is why they are roped off.
The lucky winner will be taking home a play structure that is chock-full of ways to play. Climbing walls, a fire pole and a curvy slide entertain high-energy kids. For budding entertainers, the theater includes a backstage space with real curtains and a blackboard to announce the latest show. The various playhouse spaces lend themselves to imaginative play of all kinds.
We are proud to report that our playhouse was the top money-raiser of the evening and that a whopping $450,000 was raised overall to further the important work of Rebuilding Together Peninsula as it helps those in need with crucial house repairs.
