Cake & Bench Restoration

Handcrafted wooden cakes and a vintage cash register are a signature feature of our unique treehouse at Magical Bridge.

After being handled by many eager, young hands over several years, however, they can begin to lose some of their luster. To give them a makeover, we brought them back to the shop and sanded off the existing paint, revealing the solid wood interior.

After updating them with several festive coats of paint, we add a last layer of clear sealer to extend the cakes’ lives.

One of the benches was also due for a restoration to keep it as vibrant and bright as the smiles on children’s faces when they come upon the magic of inclusive play for all!
