2017 in Review

Here’s a look back at the highlights of 2017, and a sneak peek into what we’re excited about for 2018:

#1: Mohawk Valley

Topping that list would have to be this charming play space in the Mohawk Valley Welcome Center on the banks of the Erie Canal in New York. Our historically accurate wooden barge and shipping-container-themed play structure invites kids to have their own Erie Canal adventures at this unique rest stop.

#2: Castleland

As we’ve done bi-annually for almost 2o years, we donated this dreamy castle structure to Dreams Happen for their Gala and Playhouse Auction benefitting Rebuilding Together Peninsula. This amazing local organization is dedicated to the mission of repairing and renovating homes owned by low-income individuals.

#3: Fort Saratoga

Fort Saratoga showcases Barbara’s signature “loops of play” with mix-and-match routes up, down and around this sprawling structure. Climb the rock wall, then zip down the twirly tunnel slide. Now it’s back up the rope net climb, scamper across bridge and down the ladder, with your pick of long or short.

#4: Portland Treehouse

Spanning multiple massive trees in a wooded yard, Portland Treehouse features two distinct play areas joined by a 30-foot swinging cable bridge. On the right, a two-story octagonal tree fort offers a choice of fire pole, rock climbing wall and a knotted rope climb.  On the left, choose from swings, a slide or some chill time in the weather resistant treehouse.

#5: New Magical Bridge Locations in 2018

We are so proud to have been a part of the Magical Bridge team from the get-go, designing and building the two-story, fully-accessible playhouse that anchors the flagship location in Palo Alto. For the upcoming year, we are looking forward to playing our part in bringing the magic to other communities. Everyone deserves a chance to play!
